What is RDT?

RDT is the abbreviation for remote data transmission. Remote data transmission makes it possible to transmit data over long distances. The exchange takes place via a telephone line, fibre optic network, cable network or satellite. Today, data is transmitted via WLAN, Ethernet, Bluetooth, DSL or LTE.
